  3. 3

    Build and run

We build, test and go live – and are happy to stay on for support.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you take over a webshop from another agency?

Yes. We read the code, map modules and integrations, and find the weak spots. Then we make the shop stable and develop it onwards.

Can you upgrade our shop to the latest Magento 2.4.x?

Yes – Magento, PHP and modules. We upgrade and test in a separate environment, and check checkout, payment and integrations before anything goes live.

About Magento upgrades
Should we move to Hyvä?

Hyvä is usually the right call for a faster frontend. We also work with Luma, Adobe's own storefronts and headless React, and choose by what the shop needs.

About Hyvä and frontend
Do you work with both Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce?

Yes. Both Magento 2 Open Source and Adobe Commerce, B2B and B2C.

How does working together start?

With a no-obligation call about what is going wrong or what you want to achieve. Then we read the code, setup and integrations and propose a solution.

Do you help after go-live?

Yes. We offer ongoing support, security patches and further development, so the shop stays current.

How quickly can you help if the shop is down?

Outages and checkout errors come first. Tell us what is happening and which Magento version you run.

Can we see your code?

Yes. Four of our Magento modules are published under the MIT licence: GLS shipping, checkout, CSP whitelist and DAWA address lookup. They support Magento 2.4.6–2.4.8.

How we work

We build faster than we did two years ago

The tools have got better – AI assistance among them – and it shows in how long a task takes. The work itself is unchanged: we write the code, we review it, and we fix it when something goes wrong.

  1. Routine work takes hours, not days

Modules on known patterns, migrations, test data, documentation. That is the part of a job that usually takes the most time – and it is where you see the difference on the invoice.

  2. The whole codebase gets read

On an old shop with 100,000 lines we used to get through whatever there was time for. Today we take all of it for bugs, security holes and dead code before we touch anything.

  3. Your data stays with you

Customer data, orders, credentials and the production database do not go through an AI tool. We agree the boundaries before we start.

AI features in your shop

A different conversation from how we work – these are features your customers meet:

  • Product copy and meta descriptions across the whole catalogue
  • Search that understands synonyms and misspellings
  • Support that answers from your own pages and products
  • Alt text and automatic categorisation of new products
